Information about the day
What to expect at Offer Holder Days
Our Offer Holder Days are more in-depth than an Open Day, giving you the opportunity to get a feel for our campus, find out more about the application process and learn more about your course, the amazing opportunities at Leeds and your next steps to join our vibrant student community.
You'll have the chance to chat to existing students and staff, ask questions and learn more about your specific subject while exploring the spaces and facilities you will use as a student at the University of Leeds.
There will be opportunities to visit some of our accommodation and join a student-led tour so you can explore our beautiful campus and see why Leeds is a great place to live and learn.
We’ll also be running city tours, led by our student ambassadors, which will depart from The Edge Sports Centre at 10am, 11am, 1pm, 2pm (weather permitting). These hour-long tours will take you on a wheelchair-accessible route past iconic Leeds landmarks such as the Corn Exchange, Millennium Square and Kirkgate Market. You do not need to book these tours in advance. Offer holders under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult when attending a city tour.
As you will be attending the day as an offer holder for your Foundation Year, you’ll be shown offer holder events with the Lifelong Learning Centre, but you'll also have the opportunity to learn about the School you would be progressing to after your Foundation Year.
How to find us
To find your way to the Common Room we'd recommend entering the Marjorie and Arnold Ziff Building via the Western Entrance (see the photo that follows). What 3 Words for the Western Entrance: ///transit.anyway.hobby.
Take the lift or the stairs up to Level 12 (the ground floor is Level 9). At Level 12, go through the double doors and the Common Room is on your right.
The route will be signposted on the day and staff will escort you to the correct rooms for the taster seminar after the introduction session.
If you need to contact a member of Lifelong Learning Centre staff on the day, please email Lauren Huxley at l.r.huxley@leeds.ac.uk.
