Opportunities for students
XR Society: Current students interested in exploring the potential of immersive technologies and making connections can join Leeds University Union's XR Society.
The society is open to all and is a university-wide platform which enables students, academics and external organisations to collaborate on extended reality projects. It also helps students connect with employers and hosts free events.
The Centre for Immersive Technologies works closely with the XR Society to provide opportunities and training for students.
MA in Digital Design Futures: Our new MA course in Digital Design Futures places emphasis on the integration of Design Thinking and Human-Centred Design process to develop various digital solutions – Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and projection mapping.
