Emma is a Creative Producer for the Cultural Institute, specialising in developing ideas, building partnerships, and delivering impactful cultural projects through collaboration and co-creation. With a diverse background spanning the cultural, audio, charity, non-profit, and education sectors, Emma brings a wealth of experience to her role, fostering meaningful connections between the University and the cultural sector.
Emma has successfully managed a variety of flagship projects at the Cultural Institute (CI), including Leeds Creative Labs, the AHRC-funded WOW Park – Space to Bloom, which explored how arts and culture could help make public parks safer and more welcoming, the CI's Midsummer Industry Event, and the Creative Labs Follow-On Fund. She was instrumental in delivering the Creative Artistic Knowledge Exchange (CAKE) program and the Light Night initiative, while supporting innovative partnerships and interdisciplinary collaborations. With extensive experience in co-creation approaches, she is passionate about shaping unique, community-driven projects in collaboration with the University that inspire, engage, and create lasting impact.
