About what3words

What3words identifies any location using a clever three-word system. The developers divided the world into 3-metre squares and gave each square a unique combination of three words, providing more accurate information than most map systems.

Most of our buildings and facilities have a location that you can view directly in your browser or using the free app. We also have a Campus Map for you to make your way around.
