Jo is a Creative Producer for the Cultural Institute. Since joining the University of Leeds in April 2023, Jo has worked on a range of projects that build collaboration between researchers and cultural organisations. She has developed a range of activities for Creative and Artistic Knowledge Exchange (CAKE) series of events, managed the relaunched Ignite Fund, and worked with Leeds Arts and Humanities Institute (LAHRI) on the Sapling Fund.
She has also developed the University’s approach to Light Night on campus, working with numerous partners across and beyond the University to create a substantial festival of events in October 2024, and has supported the Smeaton 300 cultural programme.
Alongside her role at the University, Jo works as a freelance producer and consultant with organisations including Bradford 2025, SAA UK and Opera North.
