Rail industry skills training

We will train apprentices, technicians and students in the skills that the rail industry needs.

Our new institute will incorporate an education and skills programme, informed by the System Integration Innovation Centre's seven core research themes and industry. It will also be linked directly to our civil and mechanical engineering courses.

Our courses include:

• Railway Engineering with Project Management MSc
• Railway Operations, Management and Policy MSc
• Transport Infrastructure: Design and Construction MSc

The Institute will upskill the UK railway industry to create a modern and highly efficient consultant and contractor workforce.
