We have a range of events and activities for international students, to help answer any questions you may have before you start your studies with us.
You’ll hear from staff in our international teams, alumni and current students. Our activities include global webinars, Q&As, offer holder groups and events in your region or country.

International Foundation Year
Open to all student who have received an offer to study on the University of Leeds International Foundation Year.
International Foundation Year Student Panel Q&A
This online event will be led by our students and will give you the opportunity to learn more about the International Foundation Year and ask any questions that you may have about your future studies here at the University of Leeds.

Japan Pre-Departure briefing from the British Council for UK-bound students
The British Council Education team will host their annual ‘pre-departure briefing for UK-bound students’ in Tokyo. This event (conducted in Japanese) will provide general information on studying in the UK, including tips for preparing for travel and what to expect when students arrive in the UK. There will also be the opportunity to ask questions directly to British Council representatives and other speakers (including UK Alumni) presenting at the event.

Offer Holder Groups
Join staff and fellow offer holders in our regional offer holder groups. The groups are a great opportunity for you to ask questions about preparing for and studying at Leeds, get updates and find out about activities that you can participate in.
You’ll be invited by email to join your respective offer holder groups in the period following the receipt of an academic offer to study at the University of Leeds. If you haven’t receive the email invitation, please email the International Office: internationaloffice@leeds.ac.uk.
