I chose to study General English because I wanted to learn about British culture. I really enjoy listening to the British accent and learning about British history. I really enjoyed the presentation project - I worked with a partner, and our topic was the difference between rich and poor in Victorian times. We didnt know much about presentation skills before, but the teacher told me what I can do to improve. For example, you can use signposting language eg Now we will talk about , and that was very helpful.
I went once a week to Conversation Club at the Language Zone, which helped me to practise more.
