Chevening Scholarships
One-year fully funded scholarship for candidates applying for one of the eligible Chevening full-time taught Masters courses.

How to apply
You'll need to apply for both a full time Masters degree and a Chevening Scholarship. We recommend applying for your chosen course of study before or at the same time as applying for a Chevening Scholarship.
Conditions
To be eligible for a Chevening Scholarship you must:
- Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country or territory.
- Commit to returning to your home country for at least two years after your scholarship ends.
- Have at least two years of work experience (2,800 hours).
- Hold an undergraduate degree that qualifies you for a UK Masters programme.
- Apply to three different eligible UK university courses and have received an unconditional offer from one of these choices by the deadline listed on the application timeline.
How the scholarships are awarded
Applications are filtered against Chevening’s eligibility criteria.
Mid-February 2025 applicants are shortlisted by Chevening for interviews. Interviews take place between 26 February and 25 April 2025. The outcome is known from June 2025.
Courses will begin in September 2025.
