Professor Hai-Sui Yu, the University's new Pro-Vice Chancellor: International, appears in a video talking about his role and aims, and the challenges he expects to face.
In the new role, Professor Yu will work with teams across the University and stakeholders to determine and deliver Leeds’ international strategy – helping to boost the University’s global profile and standing, while generating research and educational opportunities with overseas partners.Professor Yu is a distinguished geotechnical engineer and will also hold the role of Professor of Geotechnical Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering.
