During this year's Climate Week, which runs from 12 - 16 March, the University will be showcasing its research and the positive impact it is having on sustainability.
Visitors can come and talk to the team in the pop-up café on University Square and give feedback on their vision of a sustainable University.
"In Climate Week 2012 we're focusing on the benefits of developing a sustainable world and University," says James Dixon-Gough, Sustainable Development Officer. James and his team are interested in how current research at the University is changing and could change the world. They are also interested in the positive impact that things such as the University reaching its carbon targets and minimising its waste could have on staff, students and the local community.
Themed events and activities will take place throughout the week:
Monday - Buy local
Tuesday - Sustainable transport
Wednesday - It all adds up
Thursday - Get involved
Friday - Biodiversity
