The University of Leeds has moved up two places in this year's Guardian University Guide, retaining its position in the top 20.
Leeds also recently improved its position in the latest Complete University Guide and achieved a top five position in the Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey.
The success follows Leeds being named University of the Year 2017 by The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide, as well as another year of high student satisfaction levels Leeds secured 90% satisfaction in the recent 2016 National Student Survey.
Vice-Chancellor Sir Alan Langlands said: We want to continue to attract the brightest students, and while we know that they take many factors into consideration, such as our sector-leading curriculum, we do understand that league tables can help to profile the opportunities on offer for those applying.
Prospective students shouldnt rely on league tables when choosing a university; nothing beats the experience of visiting. But we are obviously delighted that Leeds is being recognised for the investment we are making in excellent student education, experience and outcomes.
In the Guardian University Guide, published today, the University was ranked first for Accounting and Finance and Mechanical Engineering. It achieved top five placings in six other subjects.Overall, it moves up two places from 16 to 14.
