T Levels statement: 2025 entry

The University of Leeds welcomes talented students from a variety of educational backgrounds who have the potential to succeed on our courses.

T Levels provide students the opportunity to acquire advanced subject knowledge and apply this to real-life situations and activities through work experience. This enables development of practical skills for employment transferable to higher education.

T Level subjects and suitable courses

The following T Level subjects have been assessed as suitable for entry on to specific courses. Please refer to the linked course pages for more information. Our typical offer is Distinction overall with grade A in the Core Component, unless otherwise specified.

Other courses may accept T Levels on a case-by-case basis depending on your occupational specialism and other qualifications or experience. For more information, please contact the admissions team for the course you are interested in. You can find their contact details in Course Search.

Education and Childcare

Where a T Level is not accepted for the course you wish to study, you may instead meet the entry criteria for a foundation year that would then allow you to progress on to your preferred undergraduate course. Any T Level subject will be considered on a case-by-case basis, provided that you meet the other entry requirements.

Please see the following list of our extended degrees with a foundation year and check the course pages to ensure you meet the non-academic requirements for entry:

Please email the Lifelong Learning Centre at lifelonglearning@leeds.ac.uk for more information about foundation courses.
