Leeds to Success privacy notice
The University of Leeds has a public duty to reduce inequalities in higher education and we run outreach projects with schools to support young people from a diverse range of backgrounds. This notice tells you how we will process the data that we have about you.
Pupil data and why we use it
We we will ask for your:
- Name
- Date of birth
- School name
- School year
- Postcode
We need this information so that we can organise the project and check that it is working.
For each event that we organise your school will tell us if you attended.
We keep your data for as long as you are taking part in the project. We will also ask if we can keep some of this data for longer (up to nine years), so that we can track your future education choices, but you have the right to say no to this and still participate in the project.
How we keep your information:
The information we hold about you will be stored on secure systems at the University of Leeds. We will not share your information outside the University.
